Today im going to be talking about thom yorke [who is the singer of radiohead] bloom live performance from 2019. Bloom was originally from the album king of the limbs from 2011 by radiohead it is not a fan favorite among radiohead fans sadly. The original version from king of the limbs sounds way different to the live version that im going to discuss today though but is still interesting i prefer this live version though. I find it very intriguing how a live version of a song can sound so different to the original version even though they include the same deep lyrics. This live performance is beautiful haunting and touching. His voice makes you feel his pain and sadness it really is quite moving. The sound quality is really impressive especially if you decide to listen to this live performance on decent sounding headphones it is breathtaking. No matter how old thom yorke gets he still has a incredible sounding voice that can easily evoke sad emotions out of you. Even though their isn't that many lyrics in this song a lot of it is just instrumental it is still extremely captivating it almost makes me feel like im in a dream. In a dream that involves floating on the water or just water in general. Proving that thom yorke is a musical genius and will remain, and continues to make beautiful music to this day. Their is also a version of bloom that was made for the series blue planet 2 with Hans zimmer the famous movie composer who made songs for films like inception and interstellar. I can see the influence from that version of bloom to this live version in 2019. That version was made to made to make you feel like you were in the ocean. Thom yorke was actually inspired by blue planet for that song which makes a lot f sense because it definitely gives off a ocean atmosphere. I love this live performance it is amazing dreamy and captivating. Check out the live version of bloom in the link here https://youtu.be/EdmL835q9To and the link to a video about the blue planet version here that is also very interesting and i encourage you to check out aswell https://youtu.be/cIsewG2g-1g have a great day and leave a suggestion for something you want me to check out.
