Today im going to be talking one of my favorite and most versatile rock bands of the 2010s the Australian band king gizzard and the lizard wizard.
Robot stop is a great energetic song to open up the album with heavy guitars screaming and just mad chaos throughout the songs length. The song is full of interesting instruments and sound effects that keep the song fresh in its run time its such a great song. Big fig wasp is almost the same song the two songs robot stop and big fig wasp transition so smoothly you think its the same song. Gamma knife is an quirky and intriguing track that progressively gets more crazy as it goes on same with people vultures the track after. Mr beat starts off giving us a nice break after all of tracks before. It uses sound effects from older songs like im a believer that give it a nice retro vibe. This song is probably the catchiest and most basic song but it still has that signature king gizzard and the lizard wizard energy.
Evil death roll is my favorite song because it summarizes this album and catches what this album is going for sonically and sound wise with the repeated lyrics nonagon infinity opens the door. Those lyrics always get stuck in my head it feels appropriate to have the album title in this song because this song pretty much encapsulates the albums sound the best out of any of the other songs. Wah wah is a much shorter track only clocking in at around 2 minutes:55 seconds long but it still has plenty of personality and manages to pack a punch.
The album track placings are so perfect every song is so well placed and fits into the albums epic theme perfectly. This albums songs would definitely get a crowd at a festival very excited and rowdy for sure. The tracks are rowdy noisy engaging and bustling. Always keeping the listener engaged and every song always paying off towards the end of them. I love this album a lot it is epic energetic and uplifting. I definitely recommend this album to people who like hard rock or just any rock music in general.
