This was the album that really made pink floyd famous it put them on the map. It spent ages on the chart and received high praise. Pink floyd made 3 more amazing albums after this keeping the momentum. This review might be all over the place so please bear with me.
My expectations were high before listening to dark side of the moon by pink Floyd as some consider this the best album of all time. You should never have your expectations high for an album but my mind was simply blown by pink Floyd.
None of the songs bored me like plenty of other albums that have plenty of filler to fill the time and make it longer. Breath in the air the first song after the intro speak to me it transitions so smoothly with the intro. The transitions in this album are a big highlight of the album for me. Songs like time and money are iconic and timeless instant adds to a playlist. The album keeps transitioning and changing which keeps things interesting. Pink Floyd are a very unique band and I think it is shown in this album. This is the first album I listened to by pink Floyd and it was so good it made me listen to way more of pink Floyd's music. Eclipse is a great song that feels cinematic and that's funny because its going to be used in a movie called dune. It is a beautiful end to the album that just leaves you hungry to listen to more pink Floyd.
It doesn't feel to long either as some albums do its not to long for its own good it's all killer no filler. Their aren't songs that feel like they waste your time every song fits the album and every song is unique. Pink Floyd are an amazing band and i really cannot wait to review more Pink Floyd albums on this website so make sure you stick around for that. I highly recommend this album in fact i would recommend it to almost everyone. It is a masterpiece that i love with a passion.
