Twenty one pilots dropped a single a few days ago and i have listened to it a few times and i am ready to review it. This new single is from their new album scaled and icy that is coming out on may 21st that is one of my most highly anticipated albums of 2021. Anyway lets talk about the song. I thought the song was decent not amazing or anything a little bit basic but it is growing on me the more I listen to it. It sounds very different from trench which I will review in a few days. It does not include any rapping from Tyler joseph in the song which is a bit of a shame. Its like their signature sound at this point songs like levitating are great examples of this. It does have a more upbeat and positive vibe to it then most of their songs do but the problem me and most people have with it is that it sounds a bit simple and uninspired. Hopefully not all the songs sound like this but its ok i guess. I do like the message in the lyrics of the song which is actually about Tyler encouraging his younger brother named jay to make music and not to shy away but to pursue his dreams in music. I love trench so i hope this album carries their momentum from that album to the new album. Scaled and icy will get a album review a few days after it comes out. Twenty one pilots is doing a live stream event the day it comes out so if you want to see that you should book your tickets soon. That is it from me today trench review coming out on Wednesday so watch out for that. Have a great day.
